Sure, a photograph captures a moment in time, but there is nothing like the immortality of a portrait in oil - because of the movement and thought that goes into each brushstroke creates an image that has a life of its own. I can certainly work from your good photographs or can take them during a sitting.   I have often been asked to include pets, props and favourite objects like books, instruments or sheet music - things that interest the subject of the portrait, and this gives the whole picture another dimension.  See below for inspiration!  

I can paint your portrait in costume or in a fantasy setting - it's up to you.  The finishing touches can include embellishments in metallics or varnishes, bringing even more life to the portrait.

Portraits start from only £140 for a 10" x 10" deep box-framed canvas, and the price increases depending upon the number of people included, and of course upon the size of the painting.
